Consider it a blessing in disguise.
Revelation 18:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
In the world, but not of the world.
Using Facebook for Christian things is tricky. It can be done. I’ve done it. I even very recently saw at least one person apparently coming to the Lord. That strikes me with awe.
Anyhow, is this banning forever, or just a month or so? I think a super hot button was hit by the graphic in question. It is shameful that this is happening in a Christian church organization. This thing is tearing up people who want to be faithful to the church of their birth (in many cases). But in one case I recently heard, a person has asked how he can in good conscience raise his children in that church. It seems to be nodding and winking to the point of disgust. Such sins happen in other Christian denominations too, but usually those denominations aren’t big enough to hide problems by shuffling them around and covering them with bureaucratic paperwork. The old mourners’ bench ought to come back, with even priests being able to confess and repent their sins before the church, begging forgiveness and the grace of Jesus Christ.
