I believe communications companies must serve everyone who sits at their lunch counter. Censorship is dangerous regardless if it is done by Government or "Big Tech". (which nowadays is just an arm of the government anyways.)

FB is boring when they get to choose what should be featured and what should be omitted. A cornerstone of a free people is to have the ability to read all viewpoints and draw conclusions on our own.

Did you point out that Alan Jones and his website has been banned at Free Republic for years?

Big tech in many cases was created and supported by the DNC with the help of Goldman Sachs.

The intent was control, cash flow, distribution back to the DNC. It’s been an almost flawless operation. Folks are only now seeing how dangerous this is. The DNC has come very close to owning almost the entire us mega cap market of publicly traded companies. In effect, socialism.

Our hope is through small business, not DNC owned wall street.

It is no coincidence that all these leftist techies are purging conservatives just in the last months before the mid-terms. It is a coordinated effort and a strategic calculation that, even if Congress or the courts step in, nothing can be done until after the elections. Even if the techies lose the throttling of conservative voices in the run-up to the mid-terms will have been accomplished.

I don't consider Free Republic to be a "Big Tech" company. If they had a billion users world wide, then I might complain about this, but because they are small, they are not a threat to the concept of "Freedom of Speech."

Besides, Alex Jones is just the Canary in the Coal Mine. I notice that freeper "AAABEST" has just posted a thread saying he too was banned by Facebook.

If you think this is about Alex Jones, you are missing the point here. It's about all of us being threatened by these companies who control communications traffic in the USA.

Oh, and I don't listen to Alex Jones. I can't say I know very much about him because i've never listened to any of his programs, or whatever it is that he does. All I know is that people say he's some kind of nut.

I suspect this is part of why they are doing it.

I call this "manipulating the elections." And we need to sic the FedGov on them for attempting to manipulate elections by silencing dissidents.

They do not embrace diversity of thought. Its their way or the highway.

They want to silence us.

Excellent Graphic! I'm going to use that when next I encounter someone who is okay with censorship so long as the government isn't doing it.

And like i've said many times before, how do you know the government isn't behind this? It's not like they are going to tell people or anything.

BIG TECHS ARE PUBLICLY-HELD COMPANIES, WITH DUTIES TO INVESTORS, AND GOVERNED BY THE SEC:

Did Big Tech companies misrepresent themselves to investors?
Taking money under false pretenses and falsifying corporate documents is a crime.

The SEC should be notified.

Contact ENFORCEMENT@SEC.gov.

Bingo.

You don’t have to defend Jones or the things he says to sound the alarm that the First Amendment is in very grave jeopardy here.

It is no coincidence that leftist techies are purging conservatives in the run-up to mid-terms.....as desperate Dems connive for votes.
This is a coordinated effort, and, a strategic calculation ....

You got that right. Maxine Waters told us the Halfrican had a huge unprecedented data base of American to use in Democrat campaigns. Hmmmmmmm........how'd the half cast imbecile do that?

=================================

How many visits did Facebook's Zuckerberg have w/ the Halfrican in the White House ? Dozens + dozens....but, hey, they were just talking golf and kids, surely.And when candidate Obama looted Facebook of personal data for his campaign. Zuck was right there helping Obama take whatever he wanted.

===================================

Let's stroll down memory lane. (hat tip edzo4)

=================================

An extraordinary moment caught on film...tech masterminds of the universe in one place, toasting each other for screwing Americans in the name of Obama. Tech titans holding vast info on Americans plot the plan to compile a data base on Americans to be used in Democrat campaigns.

THE ORIGINS OF OBAMA'S POLICE STATE---DATA BASE ON AMERICANS CAUGHT ON FILM. (Mercury News photo)

Freeper edzo4 hat tip.

============================

What electronic frauds are being perpetrated that allow tinpot Obama to use the US govt against innocent Americans....and Republican candidates that stand in his way?

Tech masterminds of the universe united against Americans.

Tell your Liberal friends that Democrats support anti Jew hate speech. Just before the election, that should cure their fake self righteous anger. Some Dems may just stay away from the polls.

Before each election Democrats censor with their slander & hatred. Throw it back at them because they are conformists. That will conflict them and some will walkaway.
