you see what happens here now - what’s proven surprising to me, when this has happened before, is how quickly Google et. al. are able to digest + process these things. Part of that is driven by things pinging them to tell them content has changed and to update their indexes asap vs. the old model where it was dependent upon timing of “spiders” and “crawlers” to discover the modifications and report back.

Once it gets a trip code it says, “what the heck is that? never seen one of those before!” and creates a point for index. Then some blog or something gets crawled and - voila - we have a connection. trip code x is then associated with such content and the broader links they bring. then that increases. Each time new sets of data points - another blog associated with certain posters (accumulated over time through analytics and such) - and those posters are associated with xyz. The connections keep growing and when tied in with e-commerce systems and those profiles, all of a sudden one can begin to make recommendations ala ordering + prioritizing search results.

Then consider your observations with what we now know for certain happens with social media, etc. - they then skew those algorithms with “filters” and such to screen out “bad actors” and promote their beliefs + narratives.

Great post! found this on 8ch to share here. Not sure of significance. 3 highlighted names are minus instead of long dash.
