The pro-abortion media may have finally reached the bottom of the barrel in its pathetic decade-long push to tarnish the reputation of Abortion Pill Reversal (APR).
On Saturday, Truthout ran a commentary by author Shireen Rose Shakouri, comparing the life-saving APR protocol to racist medical experiments conducted on minority men and women throughout American history.
Without a shred of evidence to support the outrageous allegation against APR, the author says, the “ongoing experiment with women’s health and bodies is likely being pushed disproportionately on women of color.”
To make her point, Shakouri briefly—and I mean, briefly—explores one experiment in the 1960s which tested the birth control pill on poor, uneducated women in Puerto Rico, leading to the deaths of at least three women during the trials.
Her exploration of this profound human rights abuse was indeed so brief that she left out one major detail: Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger facilitated it.
Yes, along with the millions of human rights abuses that it perpetuates to this day in the form of abortion, Planned Parenthood was behind an experiment that tested variations of the birth control pill on Latina women, resulting in the sterilization of hundreds of Puerto Ricans.
But the broader history is even worse than that. In collaboration with the Puerto Rican government and with funding from the U.S. government, the International Planned Parenthood Federation also ran a massive sterilization program that led to the sterilization of roughly one third of Puerto Rican women by 1968.
Unsurprisingly, none of this made it into Truthout’s broadside against Abortion Pill Reversal.
But what the author has done is obvious.
Similar to a recent attack by Essence magazine, the commentary ignores the abortion industry’s historic victimization of women and children of color and pins racial motivations and the unethical practice of medicine back on the very people trying to save their lives.
It leaves one to wonder why Truthout opposes saving babies of color from abortion.
To date, Abortion Pill Reversal has saved over 500 babies—brown babies, white babies, black babies, babies of every hue—from the horror of abortion.
Has it saved a disproportionate number of black and brown babies? Perhaps. But if so, it is only because there is a disproportionate number of black and brown babies to be saved.
While Truthout has zero data or evidence to back its claim that Abortion Pill Reversal targets women of color, actual data—reported to a pro-abortion think tank by abortion providers themselves—proves that abortion disproportionately affects women of color.
The pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute reports that 28 percent of abortions took place on black women in 2014–a shockingly high figure considering the fact that African Americans make up just 13 percent of the U.S. population.
That data, coupled with Planned Parenthood’s long dark history of eugenics and population control, helps to explain why pregnancy help centers may see a disproportionate number of women.
If pregnancy help centers are trying to reach the black community, it is because the abortion industry is trying to reach the black community.
If pregnancy help centers are trying to reach the black community, it is because the abortion industry is killing the black community.
If Abortion Pill Reversal saves a disproportionate number of black babies from abortion, it is because the abortion industry targeted them first.
It’s that simple.
The Actual Harms of the Abortion Pill
So again, why is Truthout opposed to saving babies of color from abortion?
Neither medical ethics or reproductive health care are really at issue in this article.
If Truthout cared about medical ethics, it wouldn’t defend abortion in the first place. And if it cared about reproductive health care, it should have put some time into investigating the actual harms of the fatal regimen Abortion Pill Reversal seeks to undo
In fact, one week before the Truthout commentary ran, recently obtained data from the State Medical Board of Ohio revealed an 87 percent spike in complications from RU-486 (otherwise known as “the abortion pill”) between 2014 and 2017.
Complications ranged from infection to severe bleeding to a failed abortion or, most common, an incomplete abortion.
In 2014, 12 complications were reported to the State Medical Board. But by 2017, that number jumped to 106.
The rise in complications comes just two years after the Food and Drug Administration relaxed its regulation of the two-pill chemical abortion regimen, weakening an Ohio law that required abortion facilities to follow FDA protocol when administering it.
At the same time, as Ohio abortion facilities have failed to meet state licensing requirements to perform surgical abortions, they have turned to chemical abortions, the performance of which does not require a surgical license.
As a result, chemical abortions—and their complications—have risen.
Where Is the Abortion Lobby?
As the dust settles around this news, women should be left wondering, “Where is the abortion lobby?”
Where is NARAL? Where is Truthout, Buzzfeed, Romper, The Huffington Post and all the other news outlets that masquerade as defenders of women’s reproductive health?
By Truthout’s logic, since abortion disproportionately affects women of color, couldn’t these complications disproportionately affect them as well?
For the last decade, the abortion lobby has fought Abortion Pill Reversal on the unfounded basis that it is “dangerous” to women.
But when actual evidence of the harms of chemical abortion surfaces, their impassioned cries are nowhere to be heard.
While the abortion pill leaves women infected, hemorrhaging, and often with the remains of their unborn children still inside of them, the APR protocol and its founder, physician George Delgado, have saved hundreds of mothers and babies from an unfathomable fate.
Yet this is the protocol the abortion lobby fights. This is the protocol the pro-abortion media derides.
Now backed by a network of over 400 medical practitioners and Heartbeat International’s 24-7 helpline, Option Line (1-877-558-0333), the life-saving protocol couldn’t be safer. The successful protocol works by administering progesterone—a naturally occurring hormone that sustains a healthy pregnancy—to counteract the first abortion pill, mifepristone.
Far from a new, experimental drug, progesterone is FDA-approved and has been used to prevent miscarriage since the 1950s.
As proof of the protocol’s safety mounts, at least one abortionist is grappling with where it fits into the pro-choice narrative.
Last year, writing in the San Francisco Chronicle, abortionist Christine Henneberg admitted, “To fall back on the argument that we don’t have enough scientific evidence on reversal methods is a cop-out.”
But Truthout isn’t just copping-out. It’s resorting to race-baiting, hurling ugly accusations at people who are saving innocent babies—black and white—from being poisoned to death.
And that’s how we know they’re losing. As their hysteria peaks, they’re getting sloppy not only with their research but with their arguments.
While Abortion Pill Reversal continues to grow in use, producing story after story of lives saved, abortion advocates will soon face the realization that despite their careless obfuscation of the facts, the truth will out.

Funny how slow our dear black community is to realize what a “diss” this state of affairs is. “More of your babies are better off dead than whitey’s.”
Before “the pill” was done testing, it was given to women who WANTED to become pregnant and they were lied to and told it would aid their fertility.
The lib who wrote a book about the history of the pill got a chuckle out of that and only thinks it was a “little white lie”.
The Left isn’t about choice in such matters. They are about ZPG zero population growth, kill off the future generations, downsize the planet.
And they have the audacity to compare Trump to “Thanos” who fictionally set out to kill off one half of the universe before it overpopulates itself.

Well you know the beauty in that lie was all those women had to do was, miss one Pill, take antibiotics or certain medications during those Pills, or not take them the same time every day and yea, they’d get pregnant so there fore it kinda be a placebo affect.
