Most vanilla ice cream recipes...
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
Mayonnaise recipe
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Kosher salt
1 1/2 cups neutrally flavored oil (vegetable, canola, peanut)
So....just add some sugar, vanilla and heavy cream (now, you can remove the oil) to the mayo recipe and...voila! you have an ice cream recipe!

Well...if it's Hellman's mayo ice cream...I'd give it a try. I'll eat no other mayonnaise.
Same with gin. There is no other but Bombay. All others are lacking and not worth the money.
