A Dublin barber has been ordered to pay 5,000 to a transgender man after being found to have discriminated against him when refusing to give him a short back and sides.
The transgender man, Lee McLoughlin, told the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) that when he sat down to have his hair cut at Charlies Barbers in Nutgrove Shopping Center, south Dublin, on September 24th last, the barber, mistakenly believing he was a woman, replied: I dont cut ladies hair.
Mr. McLoughlin told the barber that he just wanted a short back and sides, and the barber replied, We dont cut ladies hair. Im sorry.
Mr. McLoughlin said that he then informed the barber that he was transgender and a trans man.
He alleged the barber proceeded to shake his head and stated, I am sorry; we cant cut ladies hair. Its a contract that we have with another hairdresser around the corner, so if we cut a womans hair, we will be fined. [ ]
Mr. McLoughlin claimed he was discriminated under the Equal Status Act on the grounds of gender.
Upholding the claim, WRC adjudication officer Gerard McMahon ordered the respondent in the case, Paula Smith of Charlies Barbers, to pay out 5,000 to Mr. McLoughlin.

The inmates are truly running the asylum.
It might be safer to give anyone in the shop the haircut that person wants, although it appears there’s a complication in this case, regarding competition with another salon.
Cut my hair, bake my cake, breeder.
This kind of stuff is really starting to piss me off.
Yes, its gross, but theres no small business who can bear a fine like this.
It is becoming more and more apparent that some sort of popular worldwide uprising needs to occur in order to put an end to this tyranny. It will be bloody no doubt.
I’m sure it’s hard for them to figure out what they can do, and the threat of fines - coming and going - is just wrong.
Are Muslims in Ireland held to the same standards ?
A Dublin barber has been ordered to pay 5,000 to a fake man after being found to have discriminated against her when refusing to give her a short back and sides.
The woman, Lee McLoughlin, told the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) that when she sat down to have her hair cut at Charlies Barbers in Nutgrove Shopping Center, south Dublin, on September 24th last, the barber, seeing she was a woman, replied: I dont cut ladies hair.
Miss McLoughlin told the barber that she just wanted a short back and sides, and the barber replied, We dont cut ladies hair. Im sorry.
Miss McLoughlin said that she then informed the barber that she was the variety of loathsome pervert currently called a trans (fake) man.
The barber was given a medal for not beating this disgusting sodomite to within an inch of her life.

I have to ask do these lefties target specific types of businesses? Barbers seem to be a recent target.
Was the barber’s name Paddy O’Hare?
The mentally ill female would have been happy with 500
Probably, but when you have unelected tribunals like the “Workplace Relations Commission” (established 2015, consolidating other unelected tribunals such as the “Equality Tribunal”) ruling on unjust laws such as the “Equal Status Act” (the last in a series of such Acts, this one from 2015), what normal people will get justice?
Articles such as this are designed to ridicule the public. This is one of many reasons papers have earned their own death sentence, by disrespecting their audience.
Next day:
“NOW will you cut my hair?”
“Okay, I’ll cut your hair.”
“Hah! I’m a woman today! You owe the beauty shop 5000 pounds!”
“What???”
Court: “Judgment for beauty shop!”
Yeah, you're right: It might be safer and smarter to just "bend over" and embrace the trans agenda.
After all, that will be their last demand, right?
