Of interest this guy was a meat eater. I find it odd the lefties haven’t faked the report to show he was a solid vegan.

Also of interest are the tatoos. I’ve often heard there’s not much different between man of several thousand years ago to man of today other than the advances brought by science and technology. Sorta blows the evolutionary theory out of the water.

When you look at some of the flint artifacts from that time period you quickly understand the skill and intelligence required. There were no books or any means of recording history so everything had to be shared verbally and remembered. Native Americans told stories of their past to the younger ones in great detail. The mental maps they had to store for life in order to navigate throughout the area. Water here, food sources there, where to find the best chert for making stone points and blades, where caches of blades and point material were hidden for further use. Running out of knappable stone was no different than running out of ammunition.

I perceive that you have made a deep study of the topic, and after close examination of all the available evidence, have come to a rock-solid conclusion.

5300 years ago is not even a gnats eye blink. Otzi is the best preserved body of a European man of that era. Trying to tie it in some way to making a statement pro or con about evolution is ridiculous!

That's true, especially through better nutrition and better medical care.

Sorta blows the evolutionary theory out of the water.

No, it doesn't - 5000 years is not a very long time for a species that doesn't reproduce for a couple of decades after birth and you would not expect to see major evolutionary differences build up in that short a time frame.

There could be some hints that the guy was slightly different from modern Europeans, though - he was lactose-intolerant, which is a bit unusual for a northern European. Lactase persistence is something which evolved fairly recently and is most often found in people of European descent. Most people of non-European descent in the world today continue to be lactose-intolerant.
