I thought 'Roger Rabbit' was really well done and a lot of fun. Poor Jessica!
I quit going to movies in the early 1980’s...not wanting to support Hollywood in any way. The last movie ticket I bought was 1981’s Apocalypse Now.
Even now I have no TV service (cable, satellite dish or antenae). Don’t miss it one bit.
Everything now is Marvel Comics CGI LGBTQ BS!
I never really read comic books in the early 60s, Oh I ordered some sea monkeys or detective kit...
We read popular mechanics, or popular science, they would sell a 12 year old lid an M1 garand COD, USPS LOL
Hollywood be wise to return to the classics.

Havent seen a single one of them.
The Last Temptation of Christ
A Fish Called Wanda
Midnight Run
Mississippi Burning
and of course Killer Klowns from Outer Space
A fish called Wanda was very refreshing
I’ll stick with my collection of pre-1970 movies. Very few past 1970 are worth watching. Some are, but not many.
Come on . Ya gotta love They Live .
Two of the best Christmas movies ever: Scrooged and Die Hard.
You left off the best one:
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Probably not as old as Melanie Griffith feels.
Absolutely.
Prescient film foretelling future Deep State deceptive MSM.
IMO, all good to great movies. Die Hard, They Live, Roger Rabbit, Scrooged, Beetlejuice, Coming to America, They Live, Naked Gun, Colors all great or close to it. The rest are better than 90% of the stuff that came out since. Roger Rabbit and Beetlejuice? KIDS LOVE THOSE, and adults too.
Ruprecht
Thank you for that.
Ive always refused to watch it.
“Excuse me, may I go to the bathroom first?”
Huh? We’re talking about Cocktail right? lol It’s probably the most rightwing movie out there, probably top 5.
here’s the summary: a young GI finally gets out of the service and wants to be successful in America. He wants to open a bar, be independent from his uncle whom he was living with and partners up with another capitalist dude. Fast forward, he gets pregnant someone he thought he didnt love but found out he loves the girl who has MORE MONEY THAN HE DOES, and tells the rich father he’ll take care of the daughter without his money. The daughter is disowned BTW but he loves the dude so they eventually open up his own bar/s.
I know man, I hate Tom Cruise aside from Top Gun but this is a good movie for rightwingers.
Aside from Cocktail, I know of anything close except THE FOUNDER with Michael Keaton about how McDonald’s came about. I recommend that too..
I realized the other day that the Berlin Wall has been down longer than it was up.
