POTUS, Donald J. Trump, always the strategic thinker, is outsmarting the Democrat Party once again. Just as he did with his tax reform package and his meeting on Immigration with Democrats months back....he has them heading for a corner they cannot back out of, unless they to vote to pass "Trumps" immigration package.
Not one Democrat voted "Yea" on Trump's tax reform package, or Trumps legislation that would have given legal status and citizenship to 1.8 million DACA folks. The Dems wanted a canpaign issue, instead.
The Democrats are going wild over their newest tact for winning the Mid-Term elections...beating up,. big time on Trump for following the immigration law concerning parents & their children. It won't work.
Trump is going up on the hill on Tuesday or Wednesday and will lay out a piece of legislation that will tackle all "immigration problems"...head on. It will pass the House with only Republican votes, because Democrats, Schumer and Pelosi, etc. want to keep the Immigration Parent/Child furor alive to use as a campaign issue in the Mid-Term elections. Not one single Democrat will vote for any immigrant legislation, no matter what it says or does....period.
Democrats are playing Checkers and Trump is Playing Chess. End of story...Trump will win, once again. Remember folks, Burning hate does not win wars or battles...great strategy and thoughts do that. Democrats sure do have tons of hate....but, very little strategic thought or action!!!
Parents caught jumping the Mexican border illegally separated from their children?
POINTS TO PONDER:
<><>A common Third world practice is to claim children that are not theirs in order to increase the gravy train haul....especially the EITC checks.
<><> Theres instances of border-crossers passing children back and forth for monetary gain.
<><> Sometimes the border jumpers claim children back home who do not even exist on EITC forms.
<><>The parents jumping the border may by anything but the ones who sired those children.....could even be traffickers, maybe pedophile pimps.
Let’s get the DNA of these “parents” ASAP.....and incarcerate any “parents” who refuse to give DNA.
I remember the pictures of kids during the Obama years. They all looked like druggies. Awful. And Obama let them all in without regard to any rules.
Weren’t they coming by themselves?
Ryan will get DJT out of this DACA pickle with some well crafted legislation.
All of this goes along the lines of the parents being in the US already. Where is there evidence of this?
You could be looking at one-third to half of these kids....simply running away from their present home and seeing some opportunity of living in the US. So far, no one can establish facts on this population of young people.
Another thing....if you walk around Seattle and San Fransisco...you tend to notice a lot of runaway US teens...from age thirteen on up. I don’t see the Democrats or the federal government in some hyped up mode to collect these American teens and send them back home.
Here is a corollary to this saga.
If Mrs DoodleBob and I were scofflaws and were pondering illegally entering Lichtenstein and thought the likelihood of us being separated from the little DoodleBobs was high, we'd stay at home. We love our kids too much to take that chance for a AAA rated country.
To be fair, this threat of separation was small under the Obama regime. And, to be sure, a parent may face a Hobson's choice in staying in, say, North Korea vs risking separation. I get it.
But Mexico isn't NK - it's not a sh**hole, remember? And Trump has been around for about 18 months - everyone knows there's a new sherif in town.
So...the question to ask is: what does it say about the parents, that they're willing to risk separation from their flesh and blood, in breaking the law?
.....what does it say about the parents, that they're willing to break the law, jump the border and risk separation from their flesh and blood?......
I disagree. The media will only tell half of the story in a bid to make Republicans look heartless. Plus Sessions is the enemy. If he is on board with the program, then it’s objective is to hurt Trump.
When the RINO amnesty bills fail, lacking Dem support, Trump can say that the Dems voted against “kids out of cages”. This may be why he’s pushing these bills through to the Senate.
Maybe Trump can get something good through the House with only Republican votes. But the Senate?
The nearly dead hand of John McCain opposes anything Trump does. Flake is no better. Nor is Corker.
What am I missing?
Personally, I do not see Trump getting any immigration legislation from the Senate. Now, I may be wrong because there are a few Senate Democrats, that unlike their leaders in the Senate believe they are in great danger of losing their seats, that might jump ship, but, I still doubt those Dems will vote with Trump and company. They are going down...big time.
I still stay with my earlier predictions for the Mid-Term election outcomes.
The Republican will securely hold majorities in both Houses, They (Republicans) will gain six to twelve seats in the Senate and, twelve to twenty seats in the House.
The Democrat Party is dying by itself with self-inflicted wounds. I mean, come on, you gotta be kidding me...Failed ex-POTUS, Obama is the new Democrat Party Leader waving the victory banner. Shucks, the incompetent, criminal, Obama, has already cost the Democrat Party the loss of over 1000 legislative seats. These Democrat Gals & Guys must be smoking tons of reefer, or they are all insane.
If the Republican Party...the part that supports the people and the President, wants to retain and gain power, they have to cancel Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell as leaders.
Ryan, immediately. He only represents K Street and the DC UniParty (AKA The Swamp).
Those two are the inspiration for the forthcoming, ought to be written book, Profiles in Failure!
You are 100% right on the target. Both Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell must go...like right now!!! Case closed!!!
You're joking, right?
Ryan's bill is suicide. Even Goodlatte's bill doesn't go far enough.
My understanding is he’s going to pitch Ryan’s grotesque amnesty bill—and the amnesty bill that is even worse than that.
Let’s just hope he knows they don’t have the vote and he’s not being sincere about it. (Though I’m not a big fan of a president pitching stuff he doesn’t want passed, just for the perceived optics.)
Yes, kidding. I should learn to leave the (/s) behind most of my comments.
