“Her nomination for judgeship was approved by the Senate with a 97 - 0 vote, so she MUST be impartial. /s”

That Senate vote took place on March 17, 2011. As I recall at that time the GOP, which had captured the majority in the House of Representatives in the 2010 election, was telling the Republican base they couldn’t do anything to stop Obama until they had a majority in the Senate. Forty-six Republicans in the Senate voted to confirm Judge Jackson, not one voted against her. So much for being the opposition party.
