Canadians have taken to practicing pocketbook diplomacy in defense of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who is caught in a trade war of words with President Trump, by boycotting American goods and canceling vacations to the United States, according to a report.
Shoppers are shunning Kentucky bourbon, California wine and Florida oranges, and avoiding American companies like Starbucks, Walmart and McDonald’s, Canadian network CTV News reported on Wednesday.
On Twitter, hashtags like #BuyCanadian, #BoycottUSProducts and #BoycottUSA are spreading as outrage over Trump’s trade tariffs grows.
An Ottawa man posted a “Trump-free grocery cart” full of products from Canada or from “countries with strong leadership.”
Vacationers said they would be staying up north this summer instead of booking trips to the US.
“F–k you Trump. We just booked a $3,000 vacation to beautiful British Columbia. Happy anniversary to us. #Canadastrong #BuyCanadian #F***Tariffs,” tweeted Supreme Leader Lyna.

I wonder how little Justin would cope with the ensuing catastrophe of their subjects no longer being able to cross the border and get critical medical treatment in a timely fashion?

They’re reporting this as though Trudeau is a dictator and gets 100% of the votes in an election. When its’s probably a few commies who get everything given to them say they’re not going to spend their government checks on American products. But it’s only talk.
Typical of the media to purposely NOT mention what started it all. We had no tariffs on Canada. Canada, however had a huge 270% tariff on American dairy exports.
Trump is tired of lopsided trade deals. Trudeau is a hypocrite.
Next they’ll threaten not to tip their servers and bartenders.
I have relatives who live in Edmonton and I remind them they’re still ruled by a figurehead queen and a princess, namely Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Justin!

Well, that’ll mean fewer bad drivers on I-80 and I-380 near me; this is part of their “preferred” driving route between NYC and Toronto, using I-81 further north. Now if the bad drivers from NY and NJ would stay home too . . .
