and, Inspector General Michael Horowitz informed lawmakers weeks ago on Capitol Hill his much-anticipated 400 page report on the FBI’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s email investigation entered the final stages.
Lawyers for the subjects included in the report were given a draft copy to prepare rebuttals for their clients which is what partially led to delays in releasing the report to the public.
DiGenova says the other reason for the delay is that Rod Rosenstein is scrubbing and redacting in order to protect the department employees.

We all know this going on. The IG report will be a pale imitation of an honest one. How dare Rosenstein or anyone else in DOJ be allowed to review and and "scrub" an IG report. Why even have an IG? Why not let Rosenstein and his fellow travelers just write their own report and skip the IG altogether.
This is already a travesty. We are in the midst of a coup.

I’d much rather let the actual law enforcement agents and the IG reporting to AG Sessions handle the investigations and eventual criminal indictments as they have been for the past year.

I trust Sessions. He said that he was recused on all of these matters connected to the campaign and Hillary in any way.

Let them redact it! Trump has absolute authority to make it non classified and release the whole damn thing. The redactions verses the unredacted report will show the total corruption of the Justice Department and thus the firings will begin.
Trump is no fool. He will do this at the most politically advantageous time. I would guess about two months before the elections next fall. Rosenstein is a weasel that stabs in the back. Trump is a street fighter from Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn. He knows how to fight. Bet on Trump and not Rosenstein the weasel.

Don’t ever forget the 700 FBI files that the Clinton’s had on top Republican and political insiders. When Hillary says if they go after her she will take down all of WA DC, she means it and so does the deep state.

The IG has the option and authority to decide if any or all of the redactions or addendums are kept in the report. If he smells a rat and realizes it’s all CYA by DOJ or FBI, he can reject it all and publish the original version; or something in between.
