Exactly. The people building and servicing the kiosks are actually WORTH $15 an hour, if not more.

The automation will march on, and the Left knows that, but simply doesn’t care - they want their votes and NOTHING ELSE.

Kiosks will replace the cashiers just like ATM machines are replacing bank tellers.

Have you noticed that ATM machines are slowly disappearing?

I also prefer the kiosks. I can customize my order and KNOW it was entered correctly. And I don’t have to tell it 3 times, “No, I just want the sandwich, not the meal! No, no fries. No, I don’t want a drink, I have one in the car.”

I’m ex-military. I’ve eaten a lot of meals in TRULY unsanitary conditions. I’ve been filled with shots for things I didn’t know existed any more. My gut EXPECTS some germs with a meal!

Panera has them but I have never used it. I use the ones in the grocery store religiously but lately, there have been lines open because people are queued at the kiosks.

I saw one in the Brecksville/Broadview Heights store in Ohio during my last visit. It was set up in the middle of the area where people normally stand in line. A young lady there guided me through the operation.

It wasn’t set up to take cash though, so I had to go to the cashier to pay.

Kiosks don’t roll their eyes at me or treat me differently than other customers.

The second generation of Kiosks will have that feature and more.

BTW, I think that cash is probably as dirty as the touch screen.

If they ever make burgers that look like the picture in the article I’d consider trying them again. Otherwise, they should be sued for false advertising.

That reminds me of a Whataburger commercial saw last night. The patty in that commercial looked twice as thick as the ones they sell me.
