Days after the presidential pardon of Jack Johnson, Sylvester Stallone has announced plans for a biopic on the first African-American heavyweight champion.
Stallone said Wednesday that his newly launched Balboa Productions will start with a film about Johnson. On Thursday, Stallone stood next to President Donald Trump in the Oval Office as he signed a rare posthumous pardon to Johnson, who served 10 months in prison in what Trump called "a racially-motivated injustice."

Wife beater and pimp.
Oh, and he boxed too.
Trump will be in it. That is a positive. Most people are not perfect like Hollywood especially in the 50’s proclaimed.
Rocky will lose the first fight, then beat him.
Silly me. And I thought he was Albert Schweitzer's inspiration and mentor.
It will have grave consequences...
It cant be. Trumps a racist.
Yeah but who gave him hell about being with white women? Was it Democraps? I don’t know, I know nothing about the guy, but if Democraps are involved I hope Stallone points that out. I get sick and tired of these black oppression movies and the oppressors are always described as “white people” instead of white Democraps.
Will Sly play the part?
Exactly, how come Obama didn’t pardon this guy? He found it in his heart to pardon an FALN terrorist who killed a cop and a transtesticle traitor, but not the black guy?

Johnson met Etta Terry Duryea, a Brooklyn socialite and former wife of Clarence Duryea, at a car race in 1909. In 1910, Johnson hired a private investigator to follow Duryea after suspecting she was having an affair with his chauffeur.
On Christmas day, Johnson confronted Duryea and beat her so badly she was hospitalized. They reconciled and were married in January 1911. Prone to depression, her condition worsened because of Johnson’s abuse and infidelity.
She committed suicide in September 1912, shooting herself.[47][49] On December 4, 1912, Johnson married Lucille Cameron. Cameron divorced him in 1924 because of infidelity.
It’s already been done. The Great White Hope with James Earl Jones.
Rambo was nuts.
Favorite Jack Johnson story. At the height of his name, he is speeding through New Jersey on his way to New York when a cop pulls him over, tells him he’s driving too fast and starts writing a ticket.
“How much is the fine?, Johnson asks.
“$50,” says the cop, an outrageous fine for the era - certainly a made-up fee to teach the black man a lesson.
Johnson opens his wallet and hands the officer a $100 bill, smiles and says “Don’t bother with the change because I’m sure I’ll be driving back this way and I’m sure I’ll be driving just as fast.”
