Last Jedi is the worst, a bad, dumb, boring, long movie, and on top of that turd is a generous sprinkling of politically correct SJW nonsense. Prequels are bad, but at least had some ambition. The only ambition in Last Jedi was to take a piss on Star Wars fans and western culture.
I really want to make an Internet show, call it Script Doctor or something, and tell them how to make it better.
I mean, even I can write better scripts than these hacks and I’m strictly amateur!
But seriously, for The Last Jedi, all it would take would be some very subtle changes to dialogue and motivations and it could have been so much BETTER. Not good, but better.
To make it actually good, you’d have to make some bigger changes, like make the feminist Mary Sues... not. Which it’s obvious that they’re unwilling to do.
The video games and spinoff material were the best things under the label “Star Wars” that happened at the dawn of the 21st century. Even during the time of those prequel movies, Lucasfilm was making more money selling toys than they were at the Box Office.
