The Boy Scouts will ensure that condoms will be made 'readily and easily accessible' at its global gathering this summer, it has been revealed.
Rules now require that the host organization of the World Scout Jamboree provide condoms at a 'number of locations' for staff and participants during the event.
Leaders of the participating organizations must also communicate the policy to their 'participants, unit leaders, and contingent staff', the mandate requires.
The 24th World Scout Jamboree will be held in the mountains of West Virginia from July 21 to August 1, 2019.

Don’t they mean “Scouts”? What’s with proclaiming a gender? Did I hear that the “Girl Scouts” will NOT be inclusive?
I hate to ask, at a boy scout event, where the vast majority of boy scouts are underage, why is there a need for devices intended for use in sexual activities????
As many homosexuals as there are Scouting for Boys, a boy might want to have a condom to keep from contracting a disease from being sodomized by a diseased infested homosexual.
The Scouts I was in in the 1970s only becomes more beloved as I see the Scouts now.
Actually my son who’s now in college got his Eagle Scout 2016. His Troop out here in flyover country was very solid. A lot of community service and camping/bush craft, mechanics and carpentry. I think it’s your local leaders who make it or break it.
I do weep for what once was. It did not take long to destroy a good percentage of the country’s foundations.
As a former Scout who memorized those, they now seem so alien as to have been beamed from another planet.
Well they let in gay scoutmasters so that is probably why. Who the counselers intend to use them with is a real puzzle though.
I know a scout must Be Prepared, but this is going too far.
It is truly amazing that the organization I knew in the 60’s somehow had leadership that led it to today.
Just blows my mind.
This is true. We are involved with a very good troop here in Arizona. Great leaders and a good group of boys.
