Making jokes about President Donald Trump is usually the core of Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” monologue. But not on Tuesday night.
Actor Ryan Reynolds turned up in costume ― and in character ― as the superhero Deadpool. Then Deadpool took over the monologue and delivered a few zingers aimed at Colbert, his audience and, of course, the president.

They just can’t help themselves.
If some watches Deadpool and find him amusing, I have no problem with that. Fun is fun.
But Deadpool is not a role model. He’s not supposed to be. He is an ugly, psychotic killer with no redeeming social virtues. Yes, he’s funny as hell. But anyone can see that he’s nothing like a normal person. He’s waaaaaaaay ove rthe line. That’s the whole point.
But, I suppose some folks think he has deep political insight and should help us all clarify our opinions about our President. Go figure.
Watched little of the first movie. He sounded like a faggot.

I watched the first “Deadpool” and was horrifed, it was terrible. So they can count me out on seeing the next one.
Add Ryan Reynolds to my list of Hollywood Jackass’ I can do without.
Last night I was looking for something to watch and happen on a old Charlton Heston movie, Secret of the Inca’s”. Heston was the original Indiana Jones and I can see where Lucas and Spielberg stole some of their ideas for their series, down to even how Indiana Jones dressed. Give me Chuck Heston anytime.

“Particularly rude” is kinda Deadpool’s trademark.
I have no idea, because I have never watched Colbert, and likely never will.

As for the bombs: Green Lantern, Ant Man or some such, and now that I think about it, I may have caught a few minutes of that Pizza show last year on Ovation, maybe.
And wasn't he married to that chick from 8-Legged Freaks? That goes under "bombs" as well. The marriage, that is.
