Can somebody run down the scoop on this Stefan Halper guy and the semi-BOOM he's involved in? I can't find the posts way back when. I think he was one of the guys inserted into the Trump campaign as a spy and Brennan and some others paid him 200 g's?

I think - NO DOUBT - Halper is thoroughly + totally involved ... but the Webb angle on the big one being Bannon is curious. I think it was Cboldt who tied Halper to WJC @ Oxford!

Roughly, Halper coordinated inserting a few players. He himself was never inside the Trump campaign.

Halper is aquainted with Bill Clinton from Rhodes Scholar days.

Payment from FBI for services is based on an imagined connection between grant money payments (plenty of evidence of that) and his shenanigans. There is no evidence of such a connection.

Halper is likely the author of the Electronic Communications (EC) that started the FBI investigation.
