My client just received an $800 check as Trump is going after the Obama Deep State 2010 stimulus program to close it. The IRS is trying to blow the money by sending out checks on the 2010 tax year. The client is returning the check as they are not entitled to it.
Still Deep State corruption in the IRS.
WTF — Lost in mail for many years or newly printed check?
Why not cash it?
I haven’t heard of any major IRS personnel reform, which, btw, should begin by arresting Lois Lerner and her minions.

My client is very religious and very, very honest.
Would never even consider it.
We know the IRS was a Democratic tool, they used it to harass their opponents. They just weren’t as discreet as the DOJ.
Their religion requires that they take no government handouts.
They are horse and buggy folks.
Computers are working again, rules are being enforced - well, at least on the self-employed in Texas.
Not that anyone at the IRS ever seems to read what is being sent back but they are being stricter.
Maybe we have a case of a dude pushing out taxpayer money before he gets transferred to another program.
I don’t understand why this is an illegal payment. YOu completely lost me. The IRS sends you a refund and you don’t cash it? Makes no sense to me. I’m religious too, with a conscience. I would sleep soundly if a check were sent to me.
You do not take what is not yours.
According to the law, they were not entitled to the refund check.
Trash it, it’s most likely a fraud!..................Report it to the district attorney..............
