I wonder where Madison is? I’ve been speculating that her group believes she’s dead. I’m sure she’s not, but why else would Nick have been so full of revenge?
At first, I thought maybe they would reveal she had been taken by the vultures (or whatever the bad guys are called this season), but that wouldn’t account for Nick’s actions—he would have kept the other guy alive so they could get her back...

I liked Nick, in spite of his drug addiction. I’ll miss him.
I like Nick’s sister Alicia, too. She’s an attractive young woman, but too low key to make up for Nick’s now permanent absence.

The new characters are better than most of the old characters.
Yeah, that character got better in season 3. Was the only one worth liking anymore. If they develop this cowboy character and the reporter, it might still be worth watching. They’re interesting. But at this point, I’m not big on the show anymore.
I haven’t really watched FTWD since it first started (way back when). I guess add me to the FTWD ping list too. Might give it a try again. Any thoughts from anyone on how this compares or a short synopsis also appreciated.

I guess if you’ve been watching it from the beginning it could drag on. We just started watching it in Jan/Feb of this year so I was excited to see that season 4 was coming out in April.
I think this show (at least right now) is a lot better than season 8 of The Walking Dead was. However, we watched all of the prior seasons on Netflix starting last summer so season 8 was the first season we watched in real time—binge-watching is so much more entertaining.
Agreed. Fear came around during season 3. It got really interesting and Nick was a big part of that. But now he’s gone and Madison is MIA in current time. But yeah ... better than TWD 8 at this point.
Still liking the new characters better than most of the old ones.

I think John Dorie is going to have a dark background. Like maybe Laura/Naomi, his "lost love" he is searching for, is actually running and hiding from him. That's why she was so afraid of staying in a group and was using a different name?
