This guy’s getting $2K a month in Social Security checks. He can live in a low-crime area in most big cities. There’s something else to the story. Perhaps he’s on drugs or booze, or a teller of tall tales.
9 months in a shelter (for free?) x $2,100 a month in social security checks. Looks to me that he has or could have a lot of savings. Rent most anywhere away from big cities is $1,000 or less for a nice big apartment or even a home.
