I have to tell you ..the weather here in Louisiana has been absolutely perfect...50’s at night 70’s during the day....after residing in Maine for about 10 years I have to say I am entirely unaccustomed to this for spring . Shouldn’t it be MUD season right now?
I bought some asparagus crowns last year from a big box store and never planted them, bought some new ones a couple weeks ago and will plant them today.
None of the packages from either year have any packing dates or expiration dates, etc. I’ve decided I’m going to plant the older ones since I already paid for them and why not experiment. Would you?
