The Utah Republican Party state caucus wisely rejected Mitt Romney as their standard bearer for the now open U.S. Senate seat, for many good reasons. Paramount among those reasons is that Romney is naught but, a "Never Trumper" RINO, Establishment elitist.
Last night in the Arizona, 8th Congressional District House seat special election, Trump supporter, Debbie Lesko defeated the Democrat candidate with a victory margin of six percent. Had she taken the anti-Trump, stance that Romney takes, owns and espouses, she would have lost that seat to the Democrat.
She backed Trump, and she backed building the border wall, and even if she is not 100% in agreement with everything the POTUS does, she clearly read the tea leaves and chose the right course that assured her victory.
I would venture to express that every Republican candidate would be wise to follow her lead and get behind supporting our POTUS, Trump,. rather then grandstanding alone, as John McCain and Mitt Romney have done in working to undermine their own POTUS.
I mean, come on, Utah voters...do you really want a weak dude like Mitt Romney, who could not even stand up to left-wing, "Candy Crowley" of CNN during a 2012 POTUS debate? Ya gotta be kidding me. You can do much better then having Mitt Romney represent you in the Senate, as a wise guy, that folds the minute he is attacked. Give me Trump & company any day, over this now long time, has been. Your choice, UTAH!!!
If, true, and it holds, great for Utah! I wouldn’t trust Romney any farther than I could throw 2 freight trains. He’s a RINO, and the way he treated President Trump during the Primary and before the election proves it.

I’m voting Kennedy. I’m sure the Mormons will consider it some sort of tithe to vote for Romney.
Because of the way Romney and others have treated our President, I left the Utah Republican party. However, I believe Romney will receive 60% to 70% in the primary and general elections. Since I am no longer a registered Republican I cannot vote against Romney in the Primary.
If this were being said by a Mormon it would carry a lot more weight.
Even though it was just by 1+ point, he came in SECOND.

There are definitely Crazy never Trump Mormons but I think Kennedy is a Mormon too. Just because Mormons are Mormon does not mean they are crazy. I would say a majority support POTUS after seeing him in action for the last year and a half.
Voting against Mitt Romney for Utah voters is a no brainer, but we shall see if the voters of Utah sink themselves by voting for Mitt Romney. Stay tuned!!!
Mike Kennedy is very LDS, and quite an amazing man.
I’d like to see a Dan Jones poll of registered voters on PDJT’s support here.
Not that Romney's shown that skill in politics, mind you, but he can run on that issue to confuse the LIVs.
I hope he loses!
