Preparing for Flames.
If I have to suffer with Windows, Lenovo can keep their laptop.
How can Lenovo be the best and the worst at the same time?
I have a Lenovo desktop which so far I like and a Dell laptop which seems pretty good.
Flames not from me LOL. I still use my Win 7 Lenovo Thinkpad.
Don’t tell Swordmaker...
I’m an Apple fan, and must reluctantly agree. The creativity and awe ended with Jobs and the present leadership is...er...just plan sh*tty.
I’ll see what the wife and I purchase when our present machines require updating. Apple would be normally the only consideration.
No longer.
Because of the different software I maintain, I have windows 10 and virtual machines for 7, XP and NT all on my laptop
If your only exposure to our modern world was watching our television and movie fiction, you would think Apple was the only brand of computer.
I thought Lenovo was supposed to be infested with Chinese spyware?
Isn’t this the old IBM that was sold to China? People here love the Carbon X1 because they can run engineering apps and is easy to travel with but it can be a pain to replace parts.
That’s what i do.
My boss had a Lenovo, which he hated. Always had issues.
I disagree. I’ve been pulling Lenovos back from my customers left and right.
Their support this year has been horrendous. Driver issues, Windows install issues, errors.
My impression is that Apple has neglected their laptop/desktop line of products as somewhat obsolete in favor of their phone and tablet products. tablets are taking the place of laptops.
Try the iPad Pro.
I have had 2 Lenovos. One, about 10 years old has just died (though I think it is a bad memory chip) and the other works great (though I did manage to break a hinge). My wifes’ Yoga works great too.
All are on Windows 10. No complaints or issues. I’d by another one tomorrow (specially since Best Buy had one I liked for $350).
I do wish the newer ones were as flexible as my Acer 5515. I can swap out the Windows 10 hard drive in that and put in a Linux drive and go that way for a bit.
But you just can’t go wrong with Lenovo.
anyone who thinks that the logo on their computer hardware is a religious issue needs therapy.
Only naive newbies take to heart the market-driven opinions of ratings “experts.” This goes for everything.
My Macbook Pro recently died - about five months out of warranty. $700 price tag to fix it.
Still, it’s not Windows so I’ll probably replace it with another Macbook.
Nah tell him. ;)
Still love Apple but the current leadership has lost the spark that kept the Apple torch burning bright.
Even my Mac Book Pro prefers to restart in Bootcamp and Windows 10
