As opposed to the Roseanne writing staff, which is staffed with gay marriage loving Green Party activists (which includes Roseanne herself, BTW)
I love Archie Bunker to this day. That still sticks in the craw of the shows Commie writers.
Hmmm? Do I listen to a “complete nut” or a backstabbing, political establishment elitist? I prefer the complete nut.
Roseanne hates Pence. She isn’t really conservative, but she certainly sees Hollywood as hypocritical morons.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Don’t hate her, don’t embrace everything she says, but work together.
RE: Dont hate her, dont embrace everything she says, but work together.
There you go, a very good and succinct attitude we should all have towards ANYONE in the public sphere.
RE: Do I listen to a complete nut or a backstabbing, political establishment elitist? I prefer the complete nut.
Why does it have to be an either/or thing? The answer should be NEITHER if they are both wrong on the issue, and BOTH if they are both RIGHT on the issue.
That was weird.
What I’m saying is that calling someone a complete nut, a wacko conspiracy theorist, birther, etc, is exactly what the elites do to marginalize anyone who dares question them. I don’t believe Roseanne Barr is a complete nut any more than you and I are but that wouldn’t stop those elitist @ssholes from calling us that, too. It happens every day. I side with the common man.
Who cares, and who wants to know, what Roseanne’s personal politics are (or any other Hollywood idiot for that matter)? Just watch the show, or don’t watch it, depending on whether you find it entertaining, or not.
This NR guy sure is exercised over something that matters very little.
But - this is an instructive article. Here's a mostly liberal, feminist, female. Certainly, one of Hollywood, or at minimum she checks all the right boxes. However, she went outside of the box, and spoke the truth. Ergo, she must be destroyed.
Remember what libs did to Bush, Reagan, etc. "Crazy", "Senile", "Stupid", were some of the more tame epithets.
dear glenduh,
re: story on roseann barr, and my response, to which you replied:
“Ahhh, give the girl a break.”
No. I am an American military disabled veteran. Sure, in my times of service in Vietnam and The Cold War, I did defend EVERYBODY’S rights as enumerated in The Bill of Rights. However, with ‘free speech’ comes responsibility of what that ‘free speech’ begats.
Roseann barr CHOSE to exemplify the “f* you, America” crowd, which includes me in the ‘F* you’. Therefore, I CHOOSE to hold her as a contemptable, vitriolic, piece of flesh, and nothing more.
RE: What Im saying is that calling someone a complete nut, a wacko conspiracy theorist, birther, etc, is exactly what the elites do to marginalize anyone who dares question them
The issue is not the name calling. The issue is the EVIDENCE one uses to back up the term one uses. So, based on the evidence presented in the article, is the term “nut” justified?
Its because it’s so rare to see someone portray a right leaning person.
Although, you usually get is shots at conservatives.
Otherwise,it’s interesting,if not that surprising, in a industry full of nuts Roseanne is the only nut targeted.
That shows where the author is coming from.
uh, yeah. like Trump supporters should take advice from that bunch of GOPe/RINO/Neocon scum:
More and more conspiracy theories are sounding like sane concerns these days.
I don’t believe Bush did it.. but, that little smile that flashed on his face when he got the news was creepy.. I rationalized it by telling myself he was just thinking ‘Ah ha.. UBL is behind this.. I’ll get him.’
But, I dunno anymore.. Globalists and the Deep State are capable of Anything.. Maybe he was thinking ‘So this is how they are going to implement our NWO plan.’
I agree!
Not a nut, but more like a never-Trumper!
