and crushes it for a homerun
Haters gonna hate.
This will make Obama mad.
Haters are going to hate. But realist know his chances of making it to and making it in the big leagues are slim. The history of minor league baseball is littered with guys that could crush a ball until they saw a big league pitch. Don’t get me wrong, I’d like to see Tebow do well. I just wouldn’t put money on him having a big league career.
"Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid."
Love that guy!
He always had more of a baseball build. That should have been the sport first pursued.
And he is starting very late in life. By the time he gets to the majors he’ll be old enough to retire.
Hes still making money where he is, so he’s fine.
Bad headline... in baseball when a batter “takes” a pitch it means he does not swing. Headline writer should be fired.
Rofl, I don’t think he’s making much money in AA.
But obviously he is pursuing a dream, and money is not his priority.
That was my mistake...
and, point taken.
It’s not bad as an income. However, the travel would not be fun.
He is a draw, so he would make towards the top end.

Dont be too quick to talk about money earned at double A. Players at the lower levels of the minor league get $1,100 a month. That works out to less than $4 an hour if they were being paid straight time for the first 40 hours of work a week, plus 20 hours a week of OT at time-and-a-half. Even at the upper levels of minor league ball most players earn $2,150 a month. That’s barely over minimum wage.
And even though I appreciate Tebow as an athlete and a great role model for youth, his talent in baseball is limited and he has not shown the success needed to even reach higher levels of the minors. They talk about his debut with the home run, but that was the only hit he had and he also had a strike out which he does a lot. His two full year career in the minors at A level was .226 with 8 home runs and 126 strikeouts in 430 official at bats. Not major league material.

“Are saying Jesus Christ can’t hit a curve ball?”
I thought I was awesome at baseball playing American Legion ball and I went to a open tryout for a traveling team. I was generally ok at the fast ball but the curves and sliders corkscrewed me into the ground. My baseball career abruptly ended there.
Even the best in the bigs carrry their bat back to the bench at a 65% clip.
There just ain't that much time to react when the bottom drops out of it.
John Elway, you are an arrogant creep...
