A new science fiction series, The Crossing, debuted on ABC last night.

Refugees fleeing a war start showing up to seek asylum in an American town—but the refugees claim to be from America, 180 years in the future. Moreover, at least one of the refugees exhibits apparently superhuman powers that make her a threat.

Genetically evolved evil white supremacy.
The storyline claims they’re fleeing a future America dominated by genetically-enhanced superhumans called “Apex” who are exterminating those that aren’t. Apparently, the Apex got the jump on them and sent their own people ahead of the present time (one of whom just managed to secure a job with the gubmint).
Saw this last week with an Early preview. We’ll see how it evolves.
The "intolerant" residents of South Park were limited to just repeating the phrase "They took'r jobs!"

So far the only redeeming factor of the program is that it stars Steve Zahn as the Sheriff. Natalie Martinez who plays one of the arrivals named Reece has been recycled from other series, including Under the Dome, APB, Secrets and Lies, etc.” I’ll give it one more episode before I can it.
I found the pilot watchable. I do hope they give the viewer enough information to keep us interested.
IIRC, The 4400 was a similar series about ‘arrivals’, but it never really gave much in the way of details. The series lost my interest.
Too many of these types of series seem to drop the viewers in the middle of what is going on and never fully explain how we got there.
I do have the series set to record. A couple of other new shows don’t seem to be doing too well — Rise and For the People. I watched about 5 minutes of each and that was sufficient to remove them from my recorder.
Good Lord, more propaganda disguised as entertainment. Will this crap ever stop?
Clearly the sex robots are taking over.
Better them than the SJWs.
I was very intrigued by ‘The 4400’, and was disappointed when they canceled it.

So 200 years in the future, after years of interracial mixing, white people will still exist and be the boogeyman?
Or that someone creating genetically engineered super-people would make them white?
Most actors are.
