I make a great Bambi spaghetti sauce and my wife makes a killer Bambi chili.

I catch salmon on the Great Lakes and will BBQ Bambi steaks and also grill nice two inch thick salmon steaks at the same time. I have a smoke box in the grill and use some hickory chips. Surf and turf.

Saw a guy at the local supermarket one day with a black t-shirt and bold white letters that screamed “MEAT IS MURDER” then underneath in tiny letters “tasty, tasty murder”.

He should have hired THIS guy to perform at the window. The crazies would probably die of apoplexy.

I would bet all of them are staunch pro-choice murder supporters. The kind that would like to force resisting doctors to be made to do abortions.

They are in a pub’ic restaurant that is not a vegan-only place. THE OWNER SHOULD LIFETIME BAN THEM. Yes business owners can do that to people.

Simple solution: don’t protest outside of a restaurant that serves meat. If you don’t like something, most people go somewhere else.

Let’s meat after work
I’ll meat with you when I have time
The meating is postponed
We attended a rare meating
The meating was adjourned
Meat with me halfway
Whenever there’s a chance to meat
Meat with me in the middle
There’s probably a lot more:)

A purely Vegan diet (no meat, eggs, dairy) will leave one deficient in B12

Humans are omnivores -- we are not supposed to be pure meat eaters nor pure vegans

That being said, the healthiest diet is MOSTLY vegetables with smaller quantities of meat and cereals.

The american diet has too much red meat in it which leads to gastrointestinal problems, but moderating the amount of red meat rather than eliminating it can stop those problems.

Going pure vegan brings its own problems.

When I still lived in SA, my uncle had a hunting preserve of about 20,000 hectares. I have had so many different types of wild meat it would make your head spin. Springbok is probably my favorite. Serve it rare. It has almost no fat. Wildebeest tastes like gamey beef. Cooked after marinating in red wine as you suggest of course slitting and inserting garlic cloves, friggin delicious. Eland is mostly tough but the backstraps, to die for. The rest of it makes great biltong. Warthog is awesome. It is like pig flavor times 10. The Duiker is also a treat. Tasty tasty biltong. (goes perfect with beer)

Out here in the country we call it a haunch, not a leg.

Real easy to butcher a deer. On the haunch you’ll have the butt, good for a butt roast or grinding. Then as you work down the muscle groups, the sirloin, the top round, eye of the round, bottom round and the hocks or shanks if you prefer.

Top round and eye of the round are the best for steaks. Bottom round is good for steaks or cubing for stews, etc. or thin sliced for jerky.

The sirloin, well my wife uses that for pumpkin venison curry, or makes a smoked pastrami, and every St. Paddy’s she takes a cabbage she saved from the garden, and some home grown potatoes, and we have corned venison.

The shanks are deboned and put into a slow cooker to make chili. An easy way to use them. But I’d like to try an occo buco with them.

Poor things. Humans have been eating meat since they had teeth made for eating meat. (Always)

Why did they stay around and watch long enough to become emotionally scarred? Seems more like a case of someone condemning porn while sitting in the theater with their hands down their pants....
