WASHINGTON Vietnam war veterans were among the hundreds who gathered at the wars memorial wall Thursday National Vietnam War Veterans Day to honor those who served.
Pat Shanahan, deputy defense secretary; Thomas Bowman, deputy secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs; and Elaine Duke, deputy homeland security secretary, spoke at the event.

Awesome that you've been able to reconnect with some of your Army buddies. Nice to have friends who can relate - know exactly where you're coming from. Those of us who weren't there can never fully understand.
