All smoke is not the same, the particles are different sizes. I heard from a doctor about 30 years ago that the particles in MJ smoke are much larger than cigarette smoke. The cilia in the lungs can push the particles out. With cigarette smoke the particles lodge between the cilia, and eventually kill it. He said that was why you don’t see the rates of cancer and lung disease in pot smokers that you do in cigarette smokers. Sounds plausible.
