If you had been told that the winner of the North Carolina-Texas A&M game would do so in dominating fashion, the likely assumption would have been that the Tar Heels were headed to play Michigan in the Sweet 16 of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. They were the defending champions, entered the game as the higher seed and just looked like the better team during the regular season.
Surprise! Texas A&M got whatever it wanted on offense and forced the Tar Heels into one of their worst shooting performances of the season on Sunday. With four players scoring in double figures, the Aggies rolled to an 86-65 victory at Charlotte, N.C., to earn their second Sweet 16 trip in three seasons.

Michigan State also lost...I picked Michigan State to do well also...
In many cases, I just picked the higher seed...That did not work out too well in this tournament...
Whoop!
It's a result of millions and millions of brackets getting burned over the weekend.
I wonder if anyone has a decent bracket left.
The number of those has to be vanishingly small.
College kids are very susceptible to “swollen head syndrome” when told they are best. They then celebrate before the event and tend to fall on their face.
Carolina played very poorly in their win over Lipscomb. I thought they would have a bad tourney.
I mean c’mon...1 for 13 3pt attempts in the first half? Should you not have tried something else? Besides more threes from further back I mean.
When they lose badly like this, they REALLY look like prima donas...their hearts were not in it.
Whoever’s brackets are still perfect must be on drugs. All I can say about it.
It’s really getting to be a wide-open tournament, Cincinnati sent home by Nevada. Xavier defeated too. It’s really boiling down to a tournament where we might see anyone win. A & M’s performance was excellent.
Gig ‘em Aggies!
UK fan here but I was pulling for you guys and all SEC teams save Tennessee, I just cant go there. The UNC cheats got what they so richly deserved. The NCAA will leave no stone unturned at this point to drag Puke and Nova to the final four.
