South Florida isn’t a “Southern City” or “Southern Suburb.
The further south you go in Florida, the further NORTH you get.
Northern Florida is much more civilized.
Amen to that. I just bought property in Gulf County Fl. Can’t wait to get my retirement dwelling started.
We retired here from Arizona, where I grew up. My friends there think of Florida as golf, beaches, palm trees and Miami.
I've lived here 7 years now. Haven't played any golf. Haven't been to the beach. No palm trees around our farm. And I wouldn't go within a 100 miles of Miami and southern Florida.
Did I mention I raise beef cattle and don't get off the farm much? :-)
Yes, that word “Southern” stands out like a sore thumb in the title. It’s too bad that so much of Florida has turned so northern. We wreck everything.
After arriving there in the 60’s I saw the gradual change as the Good Ole Boys headed N to Brevard and the Carolinas
Right on. I know some real nice folks whose country places back up the Ocala National Forest. I'd love to have them as neighbors. Conservative, Christian, gun-owning, pro-American, good people.
