Bhutan is small, about the size of Switzerland, and similarly mountainousthough more geographically remote. To the south, Bhutan is landlocked by India, and to the North, it's buffered by the mighty Himalaya. Before 1974, Bhutan was completely closed off to tourists and most outsiders, and even now, only a few fee-paying visitors are allowed in at a time.
The small mountain kingdom is home to a thriving, ancient culture, as well as stunning natural beauty. What many believe is the world's highest unclimbed peak, Gangkhar Puensum, soars nearly 25,000 feet into the clouds. Without a sizeable wallet, or an outsized sense of adventure, few people will actually get to visit this unique kingdom.

Another ****hole that the Left luvs to tout but God forbid they actually have to live there. Bhutan has per-capita GDP of $8,762 (based on Purchasing Power Parity) as opposed to $58 K in the US. Life expectancy in Bhutan is 62 as opposed to almost 79 in the US. These freaks want to push standards of living in the US back to the 19th Century.

The World's Happiest County undertook an ethnic cleansing pogrom a couple of decades ago, kicking out all minorities who were ethnic Nepali or spoke Nepali.
Many refugees resettled abroad, including in the US. My son has a good friend whose family emigrated to the US. He is in college and is pursuing an ROTC commission in the Army.
But, never confuse the left with facts.

No carbon emissions? Have they not yet discovered fire? Do they subsist on raw Yak meat and grass? (Someone should clue them in - fire is great for all kinds of things, like...cooking food.)

Well, if we can tell the “whole world” what a happy country Bhutan is, maybe they’ll want to go there instead....

World's Happiest Country Also Has No Carbon Emissions Yeah, no.
No Carbon emissions would mean they were all dead.
Of course there is a saying about, "Call no man happy until he is dead" so maybe that is what they mean.
Everything and everybody there has been dead for a very long time.

No carbon emissions? I think the National Geographic is just funnin’ with us.
Here’s a site were you can buy cars in Bhutan. There are dozens available. And the cars come with gas or diesel engines. So I’m guessing you can drive them right off the lot.
