On Thursday night, CNN host Erin Burnett, speaking about President Trump's impending meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, said Trump would go down "as a great president" if he could solve the North Korea problem.
How significant is that? Kim Jong-un was willing to put that on the table. Is that something or not?
JAMES "SPIDER" MARKS, CNN MILITARY ANALYST: It is something. It's huge, quite frankly. I would think Kim would run the risk of being viewed as irrelevant and in fact not being taken seriously if he were not to acknowledge that the coalition, the South Korean-U.S. coalition, military coalition on the peninsula is one of the best in the world, and has been there for 70 years. He has to acknowledge that that's not going away, and that their rhythm of exercises and joint connections and that command is going to continue to exist in some capacity.
The fact that he acknowledged that makes us realize there might be something real here. But again, we have to be -- a large dose of skepticism has to be taken with all of this.
BURNETT: All right. Well, thanks very much to all of you. Just an extraordinarily evening and of course owning the door to the big question, if President Trump can truly solve this problem, that would be going down as a great President, and there's no way around that. That is the reality here.

No doubt.
Mean while, the rest of the media was as busy as a six legged cat burying a three foot long turd....
CNN was able to fit in a discussion about North Korea somewhere between their round-the-clock Stormy Daniels coverage?
Careful Erin , not following the party line can be hazardous to your career. And possibly your health.
He is SO fired...
He?
Uh oh! CNN bosses will not be happy.
Great Presidents do their job and don’t worry about their legacies.
Lesser presidents worry about their legacies rather than doing their job.
The future will judge us in spite of ourselves, do what is right and not worry about what they might say.
Even if things are only at a preliminary stage, the parameters are just incredible. The Leftist MSM could hardly believe what they were reporting—hence, some of the rare moments of objectivity (such as Erin Burnett's) which slipped through.
Of course, the Morning Joe crowd beclowned themselves by trying to asert that the development—which was obviously months in the making—was somehow engineered as a distraction from the Stormy Daniels story...
Anthony Cumia: “If, on the heels of this economic upswing, Trump is actually able to broker a nuke deal after meeting face to face with Kim Jong Un, the Democrats might as well just run a garden rake in 2020.”

The NK military has vast privilege, would they let Kim make a deal or mount a coup against him ? They have much to lose.
Speaking of garden rakes, I hear Kerry might run again ....
Camera zooms in on panel sticking fingers in ears and going nananananana...
Pro or con, I’m pretty chagrined how this is all being spun. Nothing has happened yet, and almost everyone is taking sides. There are probably a dozen possibilities, perhaps two of which have any sort of benefit. I’m OK being cautiously optimistic but I don’t see any reason for celebrating any sort of accomplishment because nothing has been accomplished.
She, I meant.
Lol! I used to live in MA, and can confirm: Kerry is wooden.

What do they have to lose as this point? Its not like they are all eating high on the hog, it has been reported the army is eating grass or whatever small animals or rodents it can catch. Even if it is just he upper military brass, even those guys don’t look like they are eating well. At this point, anything is possible
Trump is negotiating from a position of power, Kim knows he has to make a deal. He wants to feed his starving country and he lost 200 nuclear scientists a few months ago so I am sure his nuclear developments have dwindled. He is acting nice for a reason, because he HAS to.
The MSM is going nuts. Three previous presidents played with their weewees and paid the billions in tribute for the last 24 years and in a year Trump has gotten the turd to the negotiating table .... MSM LOSERS wrong again!
