Growing a bit tired of playing your Hamilton soundtrack over and over?
Well, heres Weird Al Yankovic to the rescue.
The musical parody king is offering up The Hamilton Polka, which, really, is exactly what it claims to be a polka medley of 14 tunes from the the blockbuster Lin-Manuel Miranda musical.
Yeah, raise your hands if youve thought, for years, that would Hamilton needed was more (or, really, any) polka.
Were with you on that one.
The Hamilton Polka is available through all digital retailers and streaming services. But you can hear it right here:

Gotta be a joke. Gotta be.
He’s not so “weird” anymore.

I have to agree since I have not heard any of the music from Hamilton.
That makes two of us.
Oh I though it was a spoof on the leftist play that used black people to portray the white people... who were our for founding fathers.
Apparently the onlyspoof is the polka music.
I love weird al yankohic
He’s been tearing it up for years and years
A true talent
Look up his originsl appearance on Carson where he plays “ another one rides the bus “ on his one man band set up in the early 80s. Classic
I'm a big fan of musical theater, and I've listened to the entire album. There are a few good songs. There are also a number of urban/rap "songs" which are painful to the ear.
And Mrs. Sooner even bought me a "Mandatory Fun" t-shirt, with Al in the Che Guevara pose with his beret and stuff. I wear it outside when I can just to give certain liberal neighbors a thrill.
It's also my indoor shooting range shirt, but I've found that most of the people there kinda take a closer look and then bust out laughing.
I always thought he was a talented satirist, but “Word Crimes” certainly boosted his “normal” respect.
I had to look it up. I had no idea it was this:
...incorporating hip-hop, rhythm and blues, pop music, soul music, traditional-style show tunes, and color-conscious casting of non-white actors as the Founding Fathers and other historical figures...
That was great. :D
Besides, everyone should have more polka in their life.
You betcha dupa!
Have known Weird Al for many years. He’s as humble and nice a guy as you’re apt to find in the entertainment industry. Also a devoted husband and father and devout Christian.
He also gives an awesome concert. :-)
Isn’t the play Hamilton, with an all Black cast, guilty of cultural appropriation?
My niece was into it, all I can say is those are the most soulless white bread black dudes I’ve ever heard. It’s like Lawrence Welk does a Founders musical in blackface.
