The Kennesaw State University LBGT Resource Center recently produced a new pamphlet that adds ne, ve, ey, ze, and xe to the list of gender neutral pronouns.
*snip*
The pamphletwhich lists seven different types of gender neutral pronounsencourages students to ask their friends, classmates, and coworkers how they identitify before making any assumptions.
The guide does warn, however, that students may change their pronouns without changing their name, appearance, or gender identity, and suggests that preferred pronouns be re-confirmed regularly during check-ins at meetings or in class.

I teach adult ESL. English provides enough of a challenge to most people without this kind of nonsense, so I will not be covering it in class. Plus, the overwhelming majority of my students haven’t been infected by the particularly virulent form American leftism going around these days, and would think this is nuts.

It really wouldn’t be of any value if you did. Because next week some offended Social Justice Warrior will find a flaw in the list. So they’ll discard these new pronouns, and then invent even crazier pronouns.
Oldie but a goodie!
Soooo...they’re creating a “new” language...kinda like PIG LATIN? What a joke.
what are the pronouns for Latinos? or do they get to keep Latino and Latina and leave it at that?
I’d support a law requiring them to have tattooed on both their forehead and foreskin or vulva to make it legal...
I prefer the all inclusive pronoun “She, He, It or Transexual,” or just use the acronym S.H.I.T.
Good one!

Heh. 1958 ! Exactly 60 years ago. My goodness.
Colleges and universities are nests of bat-guano crazy proglodytes.
New one on me ... glad I looked it up!
I actually came up with it off-the-cuff. Im not surprised that someone else was thinking along the same lines.
Greetings master schlonglord of the universe.
Wonder if my short term memory is ready to go.....
