But what’s the foreign box office?
What’s a Coogler?
I guess I’m too old to get it. Did the audience think it was about the 60’s-70’s radicals? Or, am I just being racis ‘.
I can’t imagine throwing away good money and burning 2-3 hours of one’s life to watch this garbage. P. T. Barnum was right.
RE: P. T. Barnum was right.
There happens to be a movie about him right now :)
More wonderment for the comic book crowd of adult children.
Other than the Batman reboot and Wonder Woman, D.C. Comics haven't done jack at the box office or in terms of creating a viable franchise.
All of the Marvel movies with probably the sole exception of Fantastic Four has hauled @ss at the box office.
I really thought this movie would be Marvel's Waterloo, but I'm eating crow. I guess either fans got tired of the racist crap and decided to spend their money to shut the haters up or it truly was a spectacular movie without the PC and SJW crap. I'll definitely catch it on a matinee now.
There’s a lot of racism expressed on this site. There are countless examples on other Black Panther posts. I would like to think we’re better than that but maybe not.
Go see “The 15:17 to Paris” instead. Real guys who believe in God who are real heroes. When Spencer Stone, unarmed, recreates his charge down the aisle towards a terrorist with an AKM. It’s breathtaking.
National Review liked it.
Breitbart gave it a good review too.
Foreign and domestic box office 404 million
So did two of my grandsons,18 and 20,as did their friends.
.
Oh, I’m supposed to swallow a Black racists movie and be silent. Can’t stand the criticism get off FR.
Idiot alert.
Oh please. We’re sick of pompous black millionaire elites bitching about how evil and racist America is. If this movie would’ve bombed, you know they would of blamed whitey.
Just saw it. There is very little SJW crap in it. Only a couple of comments by the bad guy. There IS a one world order undercurrent that only comes into play at the end. The characters are pretty good. Some good action mixed in with a pretty decent story. I have to say that I never read comic books as a kid so I don’t really know the history of the Black Panther - just what they presented in the movie.
Yes, and its absolutely marvelous. I had no idea what it was about when the kids took us to see it and was very pleasantly surprised. Hugh Jackman really delivers in the role of Barnum!
The impression I’m getting is it’s a pretty good movie with some positive themes and not a lot of SJW agitprop. Frankly I’m relieved.
