Vanity: Gary Johnson Speaking at CPAC? Huh?
CPAC Website ^

Posted on 02/19/2018 6:25:16 AM PST by rightwingintelligentsia

Failed Libertarian Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson is scheduled to speak at CPAC this year. That's interesting, to say the least.

What does everyone think of the rest of the line-up? Besides POTUS and the VP, it looks like a mixed bag of conservative regulars, RINOs, and Never Trumpers with a few more slightly edgier choices.

Does anyone here attend CPAC any more? Would be interested in your thoughts and experiences.

In an attempt to syphon off more votes from the republican candidates. With friends like CPAC who needs enemies.

I’d love to go. Perhaps 2020. I’d take my gentleman nephew along to work as a volunteer. Meet some nice girls. He isn’t political but the women he meets aren’t serious about anything. He goes as far to say “They’re stupid.” A thought he shares only with his father.

He is as useless as that Mullen fella in Utah. He could have been another Rand Paul in the senate after the NM Gov. gig. Chose not to. Only out for himself like too many others.

After siphoning votes off from Trump in 2016, he speaks at CPAC? He could have swung the outcome in Hillary’s favor...and probably did cost Trump some electoral votes.

And they’ve banned a Pro-Life group and invited an LGBT group......

Time for an e-mail campaign against CPAC.

CPAC parent organization, the American Conservative Union, has been getting squishier and squishier as time goes by. The only reason CPAC allows actual conservatives to speak at all is because they know it’s good for fund-raising.

Yes, follow the money. CPAC has sold out to the homosexual mafia.

Johnson came within a blink of handing the Preseidency to the witch when he knew what his name on the ballot would do. This makes him a traitor.

I’m going this week. Last year enjoyed hearing the President and a few others. Liked interacting on media row and purusing the sponsor / vendor area, But the highlight last year was meeting and getting a pic with Ken Bone. :-) https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/10/06/12-seconds-that-made-ken-bone.cnn

Is there a working definition of the word ‘conservative’ today? To me it seems to have lost all meaning.

they’ve banned a Pro-Life group

Do you mean MassResistance? I don't know if they're pro-life but they've been fighting the homosexual/transgender crap for decades now. Very good group.

Perhaps it is time for a revival of the TEA Party. TEA could stand for TRUMP.

CPAC is making a serious mistake, IMO.

‘Preserving the status quo’, which right now means defending abortion, homo marriage, lax immigration enforcement, etc.

It used to mean ‘defensive of God and country’, but those ideas may alienate young people, according to the ACU.

I agree and the infiltration of the conservative movement by a mixed bag of side show personalities is why groups like CPAC are nothing more than fund raisers for a select few.

So, I went to this story posted here on FR to get the link and got a 404 response.

Had to go to lifesitenews.com directly to get it.

What’s up?

The Old Guard maintains control of the central CPAC core. All Trump supporters need to be vigilant because the old fake Reagan style supporters are still lurking in the Party and CPAC.

So what’s new? Willard and Jeb have addressed CPAC as well. The organization has little to do with conservatism.

Politics is a scam.
