Synopsis:
It's becoming increasingly clear that the entire Trump/Russia accusation was cooked up inside the White House as a way to smear Trump before his election.
Subsequently, it has served as the infamous "insurance policy" that FBI Don Juan counter-intelligence guy Peter Strzok was put in charge of in order to save America should Trump be elected.
But the Steele dossier is inherently such a weak hand to play, it's hard to believe that professionals would place so much dependence on it - but they have.
I think that's what's on the minds of a lot of moderate Democrats who just can't bring themselves to believe that the whole thing is a total fraud and propaganda smear operation against a now-sitting President.
But why did they do it?
Because it's all they had and this means life or death to dozens of leading bureaucrats that served Obama. Tucker Carlson looked at just what the document alleges ....

One thought that came to me last night, while Tucker was discussing this, was: as this whole dossier/Russian collusion fake scandal become increasingly exposed, and it seems that 0bama was at least aware if not involved....
What another grand failure for 0bama, and one more attempt on his part to insult the intelligence of those who oppose him.
It’s time we put the myth to bed that our intel agencies are populated with heroes. No doubt there are some, but chances are good that there are also some lazy bums, some political hacks and some who are only there to count the days to their cushy retirements.
There should be a wholesale investigation, followed by a thorough fumigation of all our intelligence agencies. They have too much power to be corrupt.
I’ve been watching Tucker semi-regularly for some time and he has had some very good monologues and guests. The problem that I’ve got with the “There Are No Proven Facts in the Steele Dossier” statement is that it sort of leaves the impression that “oh.... so we are seeing some smoke there.... it just can’t (or hasn’t) been proven yet that there is a fire going on under the surface.....Perhaps a better way to put is that “There is nothing in this Steele dossier that is known to be true other than the fact there is apparently a fellow named Steele and another fellow named Trump and a country called Russia”..... or something like that.
From the American voters.
the true believers are still out there claiming that the majority of the dossier has been verified.
The left is trolling with it hard on all conservative sites with open comment sections

They have nowhere else to go. Most everything they've tried over the years fails so badly that even morons don't buy it.
* Note. No gerbils were harmed in the making of that scene. Can't vouch for the rest of the movie.
You’re right on. Obama is being proven to be undeniably the POS he is.
Thats where hes wrong! Putin IS the President of Russia!
The overall premise of the dossier, that Trump had these extensive contacts with the Kremlin, is rebutted by the meeting between Don Jr. and the female Russian lawyer. If they had all these contacts with the Russians then they wouldnt have had to meet with the Russian lawyer. Theyd have just called up their Kremlin contacts. And they certainly would not have been giddy at the news that the Russians were trying to contact them if they already had extensive contacts. Trump did not behave like someone that had extensive contact with the Kremlin. Another example is the campaign speech Trump made in which he invited the Russians to release Hillarys destroyed emails. If he really had those extensive contacts the n hed have just called his contacts. He certainly would not have made that public statement.
Another problem with the dossier is that they spent 5 years investigating Page and found nothing. They spent 1-1/2 years investigating the Trump campaign, wiretaps, British spies, etc and found nothing despite the claim that all this was going on.
Thanks Ernest.
