Cultural Marxism: destroying a successful civilization is the goal so that it may be taken over and the useful idiots, far from ruling, will be used as cannon fodder or the first into the gulags.

Just another example of what happens to a city when Democrats are in control. The entire state of California is also starting to see the Democrat decay.

Poo-poo
Parking tickets
Expensive rent/mortgages
But one more huge thing:
High SF hostility to KIDS. Really, really hard to bring up kids there.
SF has many more dogs than kids.
Are you a very high-earning, car-hating gay person who loves architecture and amazing restaurants..?
Then SF is for you; for ALL others it’s a pass.

One of the reasons for the exodus is the cost of living in San Francisco.
According to the Mercury News, the median price for homes in Silicon Valley fall anywhere between $800,000 to more than $1.4 million. Thats compared to the U.S. average of $206,000.
The basic message of the article is correct, but there seems to be some confusion - San Francisco is not part of Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley is the Santa Clara Valley, some 40 miles south of SF and vastly different in terms of weather, terrain, architecture and mindset. Both areas suffer from high housing prices, though.

San Francisco is experiencing a mass exodus. The citys liberal policies are to blame. And the rats will bring their disease to their new homes.

San Francisco is experiencing a mass exodus as tens of thousands of residents leave the Bay Area...problem is they're just like cancer metastasizing through the body politic of the rest of the country.....

My sis works in advertising for a large national grocery chain.
Several of them in her dept made the move from SF to Boise a couple years ago.
Now THAT was culture change!

Let it stay a “sanctuary city,” taking in everyone no other city will take in, a magnet to all illegals, bad or even worse. Watch how the city, once a California jem, turns into a wasteland. So be it....

"...the median price for homes in Silicon Valley fall anywhere between $800,000 to more than $1.4 million. " Truth. My family just sold my dad's old 1959, 3/2/2 rental house in San Jose for $700K. Didn't even bother to rehab it, and it was gone in one week.
The buyer was probably some schmuck fleeing San Francisco.
