I pray these athletes will seek asylum in SK and escape the brutal dictatorship they are suffering under.
Their families are still in NK unfortunately.

I can’t believe South Korea is permitting this stunt. I know that they have their reasons. But I also know that the assassins that killed Kim’s half-brother were an all-female hit squad. Here we see South Korea entertaining one huge security headache.

Those poor folks are surrounded by a large group of thug security people. You can bet if one ever tried to defect their families would face hell back home.

I expect there has been thought of that very thing by those in attendance. The big worry for those so inspired is HOW TO DO IT. My guess is they are VERY CLOSELY WATCHED,as is their families/relatives back home. No doubt those who WERE selected must have had relatives still in NOK or they were not chosen.
