First of all, it is a joke sport. How many people speed skate? I suspect that any American hockey Olympian could go faster than this guy if you gave them a few weeks of training and a pair of speed skates. Heck, I imagine the same goes for any Division I NCAA player.
Second, he lost the vote to a perfectly reasonable candidate. What a crybaby.
Third, going back to my first point, some of these disciplines are complete jokes and really cheapen the idea of Olympic competition.
A safe bet would be that this will be the Winter Olympics with the lowest TV ratings ever.
I wasn’t going to go unless I was chosen as flag bearer, but since I lost the coin toss, I’m now boycotting the opening ceremonies and #BlackHistory2018...
(I wonder if the declaration that he wasn’t going to attend might have affected some voting that resulted in the tie in the first place...?)

As a white male, I knew no white male would even be in the possible category - such as every Disney movie has a female hero now...so it was someone black vs a female...if there were a black female who wanted to carry it, she would likely have been given it without a coin toss.
