Overly dramatic title from YouTube, but a good window into the LE complaint process.
ALL police departments or SOME?
Since the asset forfeiture laws were passed, it may be all.
This is a very important video. I hope it will not be ignored.
It's going to be ignored by me. When we start getting our "news" from youtube something is wrong.
A description of the video would help...
CBS Miami News sent undercover cameras to dozens of police departments to ask about making a complaint about an officer. The investigator was met with hostility.
(from watching the first part)

it’s a number of different precincts across several states and cities. This same video originally stated with a Miami news piece and went from there and was much longer - guessing it was edited due to copyright. You have to watch the full thing to get the scope.
My BIL was a Deputy Sheriff and I honor those who serve, but this kind of crap with the “think blue line” protecting it’s own is what leads to bigger issues like we have in the FBI today.
So your opinion is that if it doesn’t come from the Main Stream Media it should just be ignored?
How about the Miami news piece?
No.
I never said that.
You said that.
My statement was specific to YouTube.
Read ..Jerry Spence ...Police State...
The problem with are no justice system is.....The ten to fifteen percent of bad cops and prosecutors are never exposed and if they are there very seldom prosecuted
The FBI a good example
It isn’t propaganda. It is actual people asking to request a complaint form throughout the U.S.
The Police supervisors respond by attempting to intimidate the person so they don’t have to deal with the issue. Not realizing they are being recorded.
One guy walks out and get arrested. Only when the News Crew comes in does the Cpl. realize he is in world of hurt.
Worth time to see that this goes on with police protecting each other.
> It’s going to be ignored by me. <
There’s a lot of garbage on YouTube. Staged incidents, propaganda. But this particular video looks legit to me. I’m not going to dismiss it just because of where I viewed it.
So as I see it, the value of this video depends on how you view the police. If you believe that the police are truly public servants, and that they should be respectful to the citizenry, then you probably shouldn’t ignore the video.
But if you believe that the police are our betters, and we have no right to approach them, then, yes, by all means ignore the video.
Most. Police are not helpful in 99.9% of life
Already knew cops are dangerous thugs. Never need one.
I viewed your post but go a 1D10T failure. Must be porky.
“to ask about making a complaint about an officer. The investigator was met with hostility.”
If I was a police officer that would likely be a natural first response.
Wouldn’t want their jobs at all.
My point being that if a citizen journalist or a mainstream report is on Youtube then it should still be considered if it’s on tape... which this was.
All. You think not?
When we start getting our "news" from youtube something is wrong.
Remain ignorant then.
My goodness, I must have hit a nerve.
Best of luck with your meds.
