Is stupidity a personality disorder?
Caution: No actual actors are mentioned in this click-bait.
Well, considering that most of the men are rapists and molesters and most of the women are whores and junkies I’d say that “psychopath” accurately describes the typical showbiz star.
Liberalism.
Is being dead a personality disorder?
Because I’m usually unimpressed by the living ones.
Favorite actors?? That’s like the episode of “Portlandia” where they order chicken and are presented with a folder that gives the biography of the chicken they will eat tonight.
Actors are only good for the show I’m watching. Before and after that, I don’t care. They do have the ability to fail in Basic Quality where I will be dissatisfied to the point of never wanting to see them again.
So, I no longer have “favorite actors”. I only have the ones I blacklist.
There appears to be a sense of truth there. After all, an actor faces daily rejection and it would seem logical that they bury their thoughts and attempt to become whatever will purchase them the most adulation. After a while, they don’t even know that they are essentially a humanoid shape shifter, willing to do anything to resemble the essence of whichever group (no matter how vile and despicable) will pretend that they actually respect them.
To think you could go to the theatres and take in Trading Places, 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, The Natural, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, Working Girl, When Harry Met Sally, Dick Tracy, and other titles made in the 1980s and very early 90s period and know that while you might not agree with actors’ views on things offscreen, you could still enjoy the show. Nowadays, it seems to be leftist garbage and many of the performers are basically certifiable.
My favorite actors are DEAD.
The only current actors/actresses I care about these days are the Korean ones I watch in KDramas. They have much more talent and range than most Hollywood ones.
I think some folks spend too much time listening to people tell them what to think and how outraged they should be.
It is very possible to go to a movie and detach the personal behavior from the character. It’s called acting.
Just turn off the computer and step back for a few days. You won’t get as upset by strangers. I promise.
Mine, too.
Just got back from “12 STRONG”....enjoyed it so much I wanted to stand up and cheer at the end...but the theatre was quiet as a church during prayers...(Could have had a little less “battle” time...but, I’m female)
I no longer have nay favorite actors, and I don’t care if they all starve to death.
I think that John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart were pretty balanced.
I’m weird, but I’m not as weird as Willem Dafoe.
John Wayne stood up to Hollywood Communists.
James Stewart flew B-17s.
What’s your opinion of the TV shows Goblin and Black?
My “hero” actors have all left this earth and are rolling over in their graves by what today’s “actor’s” are like, losers that they are.
