Police say a woman they pulled over was not only driving drunk on a suspended license, but she also had five kids in her car.
Laura Salgado was arrested Friday on charges of child abuse after refusing to undergo field sobriety tests. But due to her minimal history of failing to appear in court, Salgado has already been released from custody.
Maybe Hispanics are only able to drive when they are drunk. Has anyone ever seen a sober Hispanic behind the wheel?
It’s only fair to let her go free since she’s worked so hard to have a minimal history of failing to appear in court.
Was this dirtbag an illegal?

I think it means that she’s appeared in court more often than she’s shunned appearances.
Any citizen would still be in the drunk tank. Meanwhile the bit of having your license suspended for failing to do a drunk test only applies to citizens with driving licenses.
IOW she has a pretty good batting average appearing in court. They failed to mention how many at bats.
So, dont show up for court, immediately get released?

Boy that line just JUMPED right off the screen into my eyeball zone....the rest was ho hum, tell me something ‘new’....
I would guess that means she has shown up 75 % of the time she has been summoned to court...
NEVER MIND the fact that she is a LAWBREAKER, add DUI, Suspended License and kids in car, YOU or I would be cooling our heels for a few days while they rounded up a judge .... THEN they would throw the book at us...
I got into an ‘argument’ with the State (VA) over Uninsured Motorist fee and the State blamed the Insurance Co & vice versa (a game they play well - the blame game)
Anyway I asked the clerk how they can have the nerve to threaten ME with loss of my first born, instant jail, huge fine etc for driving without insurance THEN HAVE THE GALL to charge me a fee for uninsured motorists......
Unbelievable.....(not really)...like they say the ONLY way a Socialist outfit works is when they have easy access - by hook or by crook - to OPM....

Then again I guess she is either paying for her own lawyer - or better yet - lawyer probably FREE but WE get to pay for her anyway.
Of course if I were to drive in Mexico, Honduras, or any of the other $hiite holes of the world, that were I to be caught driving drunk, the country would pay for my lawyer ... ha ha ha
A citizen would get five counts of child endangerment (possibly a felony) and a 5 figure bail along with an ankle bracelet and the kids would be taken away.
I’m shocked! This was in New Mexico not California.
I.e., she has failed to appear in court only occasionally, a minimal number of times, like maybe only 7% of the time. That means that she did appear in court 93% of the time. A pretty good record, wouldn't you say?
That should count for something, shouldn't it? /s
