In my rougher days, I was on Olympia man. Cause Clint drank it in Every Which Way But Loose.

What a dork I was.

My ex father-in-law would only drink Budweiser. But I hung around with my connoisseur reserve buddies that used an impeccable rating system:

1. Is it free?
2. Is it cold?
3. What brands are available?

Ya, I think he drank it in more than one movie. I don’t recall Harry Callahan drinking it, but he may have.

1. Is it free?

Hhaha. If it's free it's for me, is my family motto.

In college, Lucky Lager was as close to free as we could get. And they had fun puzzles under the cap. Good times.

Oddly you know the Czech product is good beer although wearing the label of Budweiser. It is not the crap under the same label in the United States. In fact all the major breweries in the United States brew crap beer. When I returned to the United States I refused to drink our beer until the micro breweries became established.

Our many microbreweries in the United States brew excellent brews. I do not understand why the major brewers will not do the same.

Three years ago we had a micro brewer open in my home town in Salado, Texas, it is called Barron’s Brewery. After one year in operation they had to double the size of their brewery to keep up with the demand for their most excellent brews.

ps
I was not a beer drinker until I lived in England and tasted what a good brew was. Barron’s turns out brews that would be most acceptable in an English Pub. They make good brew as do many other micro breweries.

I like Barron’s. They have set up tables in the brewery for us to sit and have a good brew. Food trucks set up outside and we can drink good beer and their even better ale and have a meal. It is a family place with kids and parents. I like it. They are in the process of building a playground for the kids.

And they had the coolest can. Like camels. I was a Camels/Oly man. I was color coordinated.

When choosing vices, be mindful of the cool factor at all times.

Our many microbreweries in the United States brew excellent brews. I do not understand why the major brewers will not do the same.

I remember a couple of years ago one of them did try to make a craft beer. I tried it but it tasted like any other highly processed, manufactured beer.

For some reason the big beer companies do not have the ability to hire some people to teach them how to brew real beer. They have spent decades making swill and think they can just use their momentum to roll along.
