Honestly, there is so much corruption and so little integrity and honor these days, I feel like I just need to take a very, very long shower, and then just walk away and find some small corner of the world to just exist until my life ends. I won’t do that, because I have a family and would die for them - and because others have fought and died for what we all value, and we owe them.
Lets hope it gets better in the end.
That small corner is, for me, inside the inner core of my being, where God can be found.
If I did not have that, I would probably wander off into the forest and not come out.

Corruption will always be part of this world, but so is goodness.

When I get to that point due to political news, I do one of two things. I either watch a Hallmark movie, or true crime stories about murder and rape on Investigation Discovery. Both are more uplifting than what’s going on in the swamp.
