Nigeria: State Security Services arrest Christian pastor for converting Muslim girl to Christianity

“Nigeria security has declared war against Christians in this country.”

When Muhammadu Buhari became President of Nigeria, many warned that he would favor the nation’s Muslims and introduce aspects of Sharia. And here we are.

The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: 'If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today...'

The problem with Nigeria is that it is full of Nigerians.

Last year I looked into debates between Islam and Christianity. I observed from the start and consistently that Muslims think they are right and that they must win regardless of truth. Truth is not paramount, dominance is their goal no matter the means.

They completely missed the meaning of the Ressurection and will not talk about it.

Islam is a death cult. They are not a religion, they are dangerous. Unfortunately, our First Amendment permits the existence of Islam as a religion, but our civil and criminal laws DO NOT permit their death cult development.

If they are allowed to grow in numbers, we WILL have a problem. It is inevitable.

Today, driving on a residential side street in Seattle I saw a yard sign “I Love my Muslim Neighbor”. I remembered that:

When Muslims make up 3% of the population, they are quiet, barely noticed, keep to themselves, seemingly peaceful.

When Muslims make up 20% of the population, they become loud, arrogant, demanding, passive-aggressive.

When Muslims make up 40% of the population, they become intolerable, despotic, in-your-face, very aggressive, dangerous.

That neighbor with the sign should live a month in the Muslim sector of a European city. I would bet high they would return and take down their sign.

Nigeria has a population of nearly 200 million with average age about 20.

About 60% of Nigerians are Christian based.

About 40% are Muslim.

The problem with Christians in Nigeria is they are corrupt. They lost power because of corruption. The Muslims filled the vacuum.

-

Virtue signalling taken to the next level.

I wouldn’t put a sign up like that for ANY neighbor——in fact if I was the Muslim neighbor it would embarrass me.

I too live in Seattle. I love the signs outside of million dollar homes that say “black lives matter.” They’ve likely never been in the same room with a black person.

Muslims are not corrupt inside their own, at least not for long. They are ruled into submission. That’s why they are not an advanced civilization in law and business because they are centrally commanded and controlled. Corruption is only at the top, directed outside unless they are feuding such as is happening in Saudi Arabia now.

They will lie and they will steal from infidels, anyone that is not in their vertical chain of command. They are corrupt in that way.

When the Nigerian Christians failed as a result of high corruption, the Churches there went quiet. The Muslims went to the polls, the Christians stayed home in shame.

I have been told that Muslims depend on Christians to perform many transactions, because they do not trust other Muslims.

This was from a friend who spent considerable time (years) in Turkey and the various “Stans”.

It comes as a surprise to learn that in Nigeria, Churches have been very strong. Christian Evangelicals have been strong and active. But the corruption is endemic; it's seemingly in their DNA.

The problem was in large part the guy above 'Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan' as too weak to do anything about the cultural corruption. The military generals there have most of the powerful, but they are also corrupt.

Jonathan set on a platform of anti-corruption, power and electoral reforms as focuses of his administration. He never got there, falling in with the corrupt powers that existed before he got there.

An analogy would be the dereliction and negligence of G.W. Bush to police the banking sector allowing for an inexperienced and dishonest closet-Muslim Senator from Illinois to jockey into position.

Yes, your friend is correct. But that is the nature of Muslims outside their home turf. For example, African Muslims and Pakistani Muslims meeting in Paris will not do business with each other because they don’t trust each other.

But when the Pakis return home, they are ruled by others.

The Muslim will not allow Westerners to pin down their terms. They change their terms real-time. Buy a tanker of oil for $60 per bbl, and they will say at the last minute as they measure the Western Buyer’s firmness that the price is 65. When arguments commence, they act like they don’t remember 60 but now it’s 67 because there are administrative fees, etc. If there’s money on the table, in a secure setting like an international bank conference room, then they might take what’s offered but secretly their loading watered down oil onto the tanker.

An experienced western oil dealer will have driven to the meeting in a Bentley, wearing lots of gold, known to own a 747, and an entourage of tough guys in suits. The Muslim will observe these status symbols and acquiesce to terms.

That’s what it’s like.
