Nothing like Mr. Hoon, but I was back out on the ballroom dance floor doing swing, cha cha, rumba, and foxtrot two weeks to the day after my quadruple bypass surgery. In fact, I left the hospital one day early after my wife and I stopped during one of my walks and did a rumba by the nurses station. I like to say, “I danced my way out of the hospital.”
In his last three years, he quipped that his operation's "warrantee had expired", and then had to hire a crew to mow his three-acre lawn!
I used to scream this every time I saw Zero on TV, with that smug, smarmy superior attitude of his.
then he got run over by a guy on a bicycle out for some exercise after his bypass surgery....
Had a triple bypass in June 2015.
No pain at all (other than the drain tubes being pulled out...good GOD!). Started rehab a couple of weeks after and back to work less than 3 months later.
Wish I had Mr Hoon’s drive for running. I do my cardio on a recumbent stationary bike. Running would probably be better for me.
