Heh, exactly. Looking for the foundation deposits was the method used in the late 19th-early 20th centuries by Egyptologists and ahem, others, searching for tombs, right up to and including Howard Carter. They are generally intact because they had no monetary value to ancient thieves. Naturally I'd love to see a tomb discovery, but with Hawass, if he digs up the KV tomb workers' outhouse, he'll claim it's the greatest Egyptological find of the century.
